Set off from Tromsø on a true Arctic adventure, where every mile reveals a new face of Norway’s wild coastline. Aboard Hurtigruten, you’ll sail through dramatic fjords, past remote islands, and alongside rugged cliffs shaped by wind and sea. The journey is alive with movement: seabirds soaring above, waves crashing below, and the constant thrill of spotting wildlife in the open Arctic waters.
Reaching Svolvær, the gateway to the Lofoten Islands, the adventure continues on land. Here, you’ll dive straight into the heart of the archipelago, traveling along winding coastal roads framed by towering peaks and crystal-clear fjords. Along the way, explore authentic fishing villages, where iconic red rorbuer cabins and centuries-old traditions bring the Arctic culture to life.
Expect breathtaking stops at some of Lofoten’s most striking viewpoints where mountains rise straight out of the sea and white beaches meet deep blue waters. The experience becomes even more extraordinary under the dancing northern lights.
The journey doesn’t end there. Back on Hurtigruten, the return to Tromsø offers a different perspective: more time to relax, take it all in, and relive the highlights of your adventure. This is not just a trip, but a dynamic Arctic experience combining exploration, nature, and pure northern energy.

Your journey will start at the airport in Tromsø where your guide will wait for you.
After a short transfer to the city center, your guide will give you some free time to explore the Paris of the North on your own, before embarking (at 23:45) on Hurtigruten on our journey from Tromsø to Svolvær.
If the weather allows us, this could be your first chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
Overnight onboard in an internal standard double/twin cabin.
Our first official day will start onboard the magical coastline Hurtigruten (which means express route in Norwegian) exploring the northern Norwegian coastline from a unique perspective.
Onboard life goes slow and you have time to relax and enjoy the views while having your breakfast and your lunch.
Right before arriving in Svolvær (around 18:30) our ship will enter the legendary Trollfjorden (if conditions allow).
Once in Svolvær, walking transfer to the Hotel.
Enjoying a 3-course dinner in the hotel.
If the weather allows us, this could be your second chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
Overnight in 4**** hotel in standard room w/breakfast.
Our day will start early today. Right after breakfast, your guide will bring you onboard a very comfortable minibus (up to 14 passengers) on a 9-hour trip discovering the most iconic places and villages in Lofoten Islands.
Along the tour you will have plenty of opportunities to take stunning pictures of iconic fishing villages, sandy beaches and majestic landscapes.
Among the places you will definitely visit Henningsvær, Reine, Sakrysøy, Hamnøy and Å, before heading back in time for a 3-course dinner in restaurant and to catch our Hurtigruten back to Tromsø, departing from Svolvær at 21:30.
If the weather allows us, this could be your third chance of seeing the Northern Lights, but now from the ship.

Now it's time to relax a bit more onboard. A delicious breakfast and a lunch will be served onboard while we will reach Tromsø around 14:30.
Your guide will bring you around the city with a nice city tour (with entrance at the Polar Museum).
You will have the rest of the day to discover the city on your own or join one of the extra activities.
Overnight in a 4**** hotel in standard double room w/breakfast.
After breakfast, private transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.
Meals often feature fresh, local ingredients such as Arctic fish, seafood, and traditional Norwegian dishes.

You will visit authentic fishing villages known for their history, scenic beauty, and traditional lifestyle. Expect charming harbors, drying fish racks, and opportunities to learn about local culture.

While back in Tromsø you could join a northern lights tour (in a small or larger group) or, depending on the time of the year, also a Sami and Reindeer evening camp dinner.
