THE LYNGEN TREASURE

6-7 hours

The Lyngen Alps are one of Norway’s most striking natural wonders: a place of sharp peaks, glaciers, remote valleys, and crystal-clear fjords. Untouched, rugged, and staggeringly beautiful, Lyngen is where adventurers and nature-lovers come to feel the Arctic in its most primal form.

After a short drive we will take a quick ferry ride. Already from the dock you will get a glimpse of the Lyngen Alps and, once on the other side, the fun will start. Let our guides drive you to the most stunning places in the Lyngen Alps: fjords, valleys and mountains with glaciers are everywhere.

Depending on the season and conditions, the tour includes short nature walks or snowshoeing to fully connect with the landscape. You’ll breathe the cleanest air, walk in complete silence, and learn about Arctic flora and fauna from your guide.

You will get a warm lunch with stunning views before heading back to Tromsø.

This is a weather-dependent activity. The itinerary may change due to weather conditions.

The Lyngen Treasure

This is not a wildlife-focused tour; it is a sightseeing tour. During the trip, you might see animals such as reindeer, moose, sea eagles, seals, and otters. Since these are wild animals, sightings are not guaranteed, and it is possible that none of them will be seen.

Since this is a sightseeing tour, we will spend a significant amount of time in the vehicle. Transportation is necessary to move from one location to another, from one landscape to the next, allowing you to capture incredible photographs along the way.

This tour includes a delicious hot meal. You can enjoy dishes such as reindeer stew, cod stew, and tomato soup. Of course, alternative options are also available for vegans and those with dietary restrictions.

Restroom options are limited, but we plan to make at least one stop during our lunch break.

The weather in Northern Norway is highly variable. Taking a tour in bad weather is unfortunately a possibility, but our guides are highly trained and will ensure you have a unique experience!
